Which Moto sites have Changing Places facilities?

Changing Places are fully accessible toilets designed with generous space and equipment.

Screenshot 2021-08-16 at 15.28.47We are proud to have installed Changing Places facilities at;

  • Donington Park (M1)
  • Toddington Northbound (M1)
  • Medway Westbound (M2)
  • Leigh Delamere Westbound (M4)
  • Exeter (M5)
  • Southwaite Northbound (M6)
  • Thurrock (M25)
  • Cherwell Valley (M40)

    Additionally, there are disabled toilets available at every Moto service area
    and we operate the RADAR key scheme.

Provision of these facilities is something we regularly review and are committed to increasing. The complexities of our sites mean that changes such as this need to be properly planned and isn't always a simple process.

What is typically in a Changing Places toilet facility?

  • a centrally placed peninsular toilet with room on either side and grab rails
  • the room should be at least 12 metres square with a non-slip floor, a privacy screen and waste bins
  • the washbasin should have clear space below or height adjustable
  • many facilities have a shower with a seat
  • height adjustable adult size changing bench and hoist where possible
